STARTREC at ECT2026 in Edinburgh

CEA and Thermagy attended the 2026 European Conference on Thermoelectrics (ECT2026), held in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 14 to 18 September. The annual conference brings together researchers and industry working on thermoelectrics, with topics ranging from fundamental theory to new materials, devices and applications.

Both partners presented recent results from the STARTREC project. Guillaume Savelli from CEA gave a talk entitled “Optimization of Silicon Germanium alloys performances developed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion”, and Aniruddha Ray, PhD from Thermagy b.v. (Formerly RGS Development) presented “Thermoelectric modules and applications: an industrial perspective”. Thermagy also exhibited its work at a booth.
